Fairy Tail 2 details its heroes and villains

More details have been shared for upcoming action RPG Fairy Tail 2, going over its many heroes and villains.

Fairy Tail 2 is the latest game spin-off for the manga and anime franchise, adapting the Alvarez Empire Arc which ended the original series. In addition, it will also include a game-original scenario in the form of “The Key to the Unknown”, taking place after the manga’s final battle.

Players will once again take control of Natsy, Lucy, and many other members of the Fairy Tail guild as they take on arch nemesis Zeref. Zeref is joined by the Spriggan 12, Mages that act as his shield.

Gameplay details on the other hand are actually quite scarce right now. Koei Tecmo have described Fairy Tail 2 as an action RPG specifically, changing things up from the turn based battles of the first game.
