Fate/EXTELLA Link Details New Servants, Japanese Limited Edition
After the recent announcement of Francis Drake, Astolfo, and Scáthach as new playable Servants, some Fate/EXTELLA Link details with further info on them and plenty of screenshots have been released! The classes for six more Servants who will be added have been revealed too!
For the six new Servants yet to be revealed, there will be two Archers, one Caster, two Berserkers, and one Ruler-class Servant. It’s likely at least some of these will be remaining Servants from Extra who weren’t included in the first EXTELLA, and there aren’t a whole lot of options for who the Ruler could be, but we’ll have to wait and find out!
Here’s a look at the new playable Servants announced so far:
Charlemagne
CV: Ryōhei Kimura
Class: Saber
Noble Phantasm: Joyeuse Order: Show Us The Hero! Twelve Radiant Swords That Travel the Wide World
A carefree young man who somewhat bluntly says he is not suited to be king. He decides his actions and aesthetic based on “whether it’s cool” or “whether it’s uncool”, even if it’s bad for him or bad for his Master…
Francis Drake
CV: Urara Takano
Class: Rider
Noble Phantasm: Golden Wild Hunt: The Night of the Golden Hind and the Storm
A voyager who lived during the Age of Discovery in the 16th century. She was an adventurer and pirate, known and feared as ‘El Draque’ for her destruction of Spanish ships and settlements in the West Indies.
Astolfo
CV: Rumi Ōkubo
Class: Rider
Noble Phantasm: Hippogriff: Otherworldly Phantom Horse
One of the Twelve Paladins of Charlemagne. Although his ability as a knight is inferior, he overcomes difficulties by using a variety of Noble Phantasms. He has a carefree personality and doesn’t think particularly much about anything.
Scáthach
CV: Mamiko Noto
Class: Lancer
Noble Phantasm: Gate of Skye: Gate to the Magical Realm Brimming with Death
A warrior queen from the Ulster Cycle of Celtic mythology. As the gatekeeper and queen of a strange place known as the “Land of Shadows”, she is gifted in the use of spears and Rune magecraft. She was the teacher of Cú Chulainn, and taught him all of his techniques as well as gave him his favourite demonic spear.
The official website also updated with character profiles for a few returning Servants:
Nero Claudius
CV: Sakura Tange
Class: Saber
Noble Phantasm: Aestus Domus Aurea: Golden Theatre of the Flamboyant
A self-styled swordsman in a bright crimson dress. With a self-confident personality, she doesn’t hesitate to boast of her unrivaled skill or artistic genius.
Tamamo no Mae
CV: Chiwa Saito
Class: Caster
Noble Phantasm: Eightfold Blessing of Amaterasu on the Weight Stone under the Sunlit Watery Heavens
With a bright smile and her trademark fox ears, Tamamo no Mae is a beautiful woman, but she has a poisonous tongue. Despite this, she wants to dedicate herself to her Master and be the perfect wife.
Nameless
CV: Junichi Suwabe
Class: Archer
Noble Phantasm: Unlimited Blade Works: Infinite Creation of Swords
A spirit of wrought iron wrapped in a red mantle. He appears cold and cynical, but he genuinely cares underneath. Although an Archer-class Servant, he favours melee fighting. While not especially strong, he is an excellent all-around handyman.
