February Moe Day: New Pre-Orders Open
There’s a lot of great games coming out soon, but one day in particular on the calendar has been marked with multiple loops of the ol’ red marker: 06/02/2015. It’s the first hallowed “Moe Day” of the year, and each day that passes by on our journey through time towards it is another shackle loosening from my prison. Three fantastic games are coming out on that Friday, and we’ve got pre-orders open for all of them!
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 (PS Vita)
This game first came out under the title Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 on PlayStation 3. But if its predecessor proved anything it’s that the Vita port, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth, might have been the definitive way to enjoy the game. From what we’ve seen Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 looks like it will continue the trend. Lots of people have been holding out waiting for this version, and they might not have been wrong to do so. Hyperdimension Neptunia isn’t the hardest JRPG in the world, in fact, it’s quite to the contrary — but that’s hardly something you’ll hear me complaining about. It might be one of the most moe JRPG games in the world, and as such is a must-buy.

Criminal Girls: Invite Only (PS Vita)
Sure, there’s been some hubbub about the censorship of Criminal Girls in the west, but reports have stated that “these changes would be necessary in order to make a release possible in all regions”, and the changes were only very minimal. If that does’t tell you something about how steamy it is, then I’m not sure what will! Part visual novel, part dungeon crawler, this game challenges you to help guide different girls condemned to Hell with their own backgrounds and pasts to redemption and salvation.

Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed (PS4)
You all know we were big fans of Akiba’s Trip when it first came out towards the end of last year, but it did kind of bug us the game was limited to PS3 and PS Vita over here. But no longer — the PS4 version is already upon us. The game involves stripping vampires to make them vulnerable to the sun, but it’s not as lewd or sexy as you might think. It’s cheeky, very self-aware, and a lot of fun. It also has a charming and almost uncannily accurate recreation of Akihabra. We can’t wait to feast our eyes on this game in glorious next-gen-o-vision.

Steins;Gate (PS3 and PS Vita)
We have no idea when Steins;Gate will be coming out for PS3 and for PS Vita. But you can still join our mailing list to hear about physical copies when the news happens. Will the news happen? Will Steins;Gate be released physically? Mr. Geraint Evans had some interesting things to say about that. A little birdie tells us to keep an ear out, as news may be on its way.
