Fender’s Fancy Evangelion Guitar On The Way

Fender have revealed they’re working on an Evangelion guitar to be released in Japan, and fair warning, it’s quite expensive. Well, at least I think it is, as a non-guitar owner.

To be more specific, the ‘Fender x Asuka Telecaster’ will be themed after Asuka’s suit with red and yellow gradient. There are a few neat touches throughout the design, including a NERV logo and an EVA 2 symbol in reference to Asuka’s own Evangelion unit.

You’ll also get an original certificate and sticker for the guitar, which you’re going to want, seeing as the guitar will set you back around 250,000 yen (£1887)!
