Square Enix to reprint Final Fantasy XIV Encyclopaedia Eorzea vol. 1 and 2 alongside new releases

Final Fantasy XIV fans have a lot of merch to look forward to in 2021, with Square Enix reprinting both Encyclopaedia Eorzea volumes, and publishing two new products in English.

The “Encyclopaedia Eorzea ~The World of FINAL FANTASY XIV~” volumes are huge books full of details, lore, and artwork from the game. They’re absolutely worth picking up if you’re a fan of the story — volume 1 covers A Realm Reborn and Heavensward, and volume 2 is exclusively about Stormblood. Each one comes with a code for an in-game item too.

Both Encyclopaedia Eorzea volumes are available for pre-order now (the page for volume 1 seems to be broken right now), and are scheduled for release on April 12, 2022.

For those that are after something new, there’s the Final Fantasy XIV Picture Book, featuring a cute story about the Namazu — this one launches July 26, 2022, with pre-orders starting from October 26, 2021.

Other than books, Square Enix will also be releasing a collection of posters for Final Fantasy XIV. The collection contains 27 posters in total, displaying the game’s beautiful key art. You’ll be able to pre-order from August 10, 2021, launching May 10, 2022.

With Endwalker arriving later this year, it’s safe to assume that even more merchandise will be announced by the end of 2021 — here’s hoping that a Shadowbringers-themed Encyclopaedia is in the works!
