Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles brings voice acting and updated visuals to the classic PSP RPG
Square Enix announced during the June PlayStation State of Play that the original Final Fantasy Tactics is coming to new platforms with an enhanced release subtitled “The Ivalice Chronicles”.
Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles once again details the journey of Ramza Beoulve, a young nobleman who attempts to rise above the conflict taking hold of Ivalice. For the first time, his story will be accompanied by full voice acting, along with an updated UI and some quality of life feautures.
If you’re after a more classic experience, it’s possible to play the original version of Final Fantasy Tactics with none of the changes. However, this also seems to mean that you can mix and match the old visuals with voice acting, or any other combination.
Pre-orders are available now, including a Collector’s Box directly via the Square Enix Store. This edition features lots of physical goodies, including chocobo plushies and Ramza figure.
