Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster launching November 10
The penultimate Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is almost here, as Final Fantasy V launches for mobile and PC via Steam on November 10, 2021.
It features the same changes that the other Pixel Remasters received, including redrawn sprites and a rearranged soundtrack. A lot of care has been put into the presentation side of things — aside from the awful (but fixable) font.
Despite being based on the original release of Final Fantasy V (meaning that it’s missing any additional content added in future versions), there are also gameplay and QoL changes.
With the current rate of Pixel Remaster releases, Final Fantasy VI should be available during January 2022. Its release will complete the PC collection of mainline Final Fantasy titles (we’re going to ignore the ugly mobile port of VI…)
