Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade announced for PS5
During today’s State of Play, Square Enix revealed that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be coming to the PS5.
Titled Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (because of course it is), the base game will be a free upgrade for PS4 owners, boasting improved graphics and load times. Save data will also carry over, something that has been unfortunately rare for games that have received free current gen upgrades.
What wont be free is a new story chapter, featuring Yuffie as the main character. Said chapter will also only be available on PS5, skipping out on the PS4 version.
Both Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on PS5 and the DLC chapter will release worldwide on June 10, 2021. The game’s soundtrack will also finally be available on online music services from February 26.
