Final Fantasy XIV Hatching-tide 2022 event starts next week

Square Enix has announced that this year’s Hatching-tide event in Final Fantasy XIV will start on April 13, running until April 27, 2022.

Hatching-tide is an Easter themed event, which usually means lots of egg-themed rewards. This latest version of the event is no different, with the main reward being an “Eat Egg” emote, along with a Hatching Bunny minion.

The release timing means that this year’s Hatching-tide starts only a day after the launch of Patch 6.1, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker’s first major update. Patch 6.1 will bring even more story content (including the return of Hildibrand), a PvP rework, a new 24-man raid, and more.
