Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.11 starts the race for Futures Rewritten world first

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.11 is out now, bringing a new Ultimate trial for players to cut their teeth on.

Patch 7.11 sees the introduction of Futures Rewritten (Ultimate), an extremely tough encounter based on Shadowbringers’s Eden raids. Completion rewards a new title and shiny weapons, along with bragging rights of course.

Alongside this main addition, Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.11 includes a handful of PvP balance changes. Patch 7.1 introduced a number of changes and reworks to PvP, so these are in response to some outliers. Most classes got buffs, outside of Paladin, Red Mage, and Astrologian.

In the coming months, more content is set to arrive as part of the Patch 7.1 content schedule. More quests, including the return of Hildibrand, arrive in Patch 7.15, with the conclusion of Dawntrail’s role quests launching shortly after in Patch 7.16,
