Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.2 “Seekers of Eternity” arrives late March

The latest Letter from the Producer stream revealed more info for Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.2, which is set to arrive late March 2025.

Titled Seekers of Eternity, the Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.2 cycle is set to bring a variety of content in the coming months. Naturally, this will begin with new story content following up on the Dawntrail questline, along with a dungeon and trial to go along with it.

Raiders will also have access to the next set of Arcadion raids with the Cruiserweight Tier (the final set should arrive later this year/early2026 in Patch 7.4.)

Unfortunately, most of the important side content will likely not be a part of Patch 7.2 specifically, if the game’s previous patch cycle is followed. Both Cosmic Exploration (gatherer and crafter content) and Occult Crescent (large-scale battles) are more likely to appear during the following 7.2x patches, so players looking for something fresh will have to wait a bit longer.
