Final Fantasy XV DLC Release Dates Announced: Booster Pack, Gladiolus, Prompto
Today is the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII, and this year is the 30th anniversary of the series as a whole. Square Enix are going big with Final Fantasy this year. As part of the celebrations taking place today, XV‘s director, Hajime Tabata, has announced some Final Fantasy XV DLC release dates.
Final Fantasy XV Booster Pack – 21st February 2017
Final Fantasy XV – Episode: Gladiolus – 28th March 2017
Final Fantasy XV – Episode: Prompto – June 2017
It’s unclear at this stage as to whether these will be worldwide release dates, but going off of Final Fantasy XV‘s own release date it’s safe to assume it’ll be pretty much the same. Story DLC is coming out actually pretty soon, and it could be that we’ll get through all of it by the end of the year.
There’s still not much in the way of information as to what the DLC episodes will actually be about, beyond revolving around a specific character. Here’s hoping they’re good. At least now we know when to get to work installing Final Fantasy XV onto our consoles again!
