Final Fantasy XVI PC port set for mid September
It’s taken a little while, but Final Fantasy XVI finally (all pun intended) has a release date for PC on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Square Enix’s action RPG will launch on September 17, 2024 at the reduced price point of £44.99. Unlike some other ports (*cough* 7 Remake *cough*), there’s no delay between Final Fantasy XVI launching on Epic and Steam.
A demo for the PC release is available now, containing the same content as the previous PS5 demo. You can take on the opening section of the game — save files transfer to the full release — and then try out an adjusted later section to give some of the Eikon abilities a try.
The game’s DLC, which already released for PS5, is also available for purchase via the Complete Edition. This costs £65 (only slightly more than the original RRP on PlayStation), including both the Echoes of the Fallen and the Rising Tide DLC.
