Final Fantasy XVI’s Clive Rosfield joins Tekken 8, following in Noctis’s footsteps
Tekken 8 wouldn’t be a modern fighting game without at least one crossover character, and players wont have to wait much longer for this to happen. Announced during The Game Awards 2024, Final Fantasy XVI’s Clive Rosfield is set to join the roster later this year.
Arriving for Character Year 1 Pass owners of December 16, 2024 (December 19 for everyone else), Clive Rosfield is the fourth DLC character in Tekken 8.
Clive brings with him a number of Eikonic abilities, encompassing all of the unlockable movesets from Final Fantasy XVI — this even includes Leviathan from the Rising Tide DLC. His faithful companion Torgal can also join in on the fight (we’re sure he’d get along well with Leroy.)
A new stage also arrives alongside Clive, Final Fantasy XVI’s Phoenix Gate. As a key area from the game’s early story moments, it transforms during the final round into a fiery arena.
Tekken is no stranger to Final Fantasy, with Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis joining Tekken 7 alongside a number of other crossover characters.
