Final Fantasy’s 30th Anniversary Trailer is Magical

The most influential JRPG series is celebrating its 30th anniversary and whilst Square Enix have many plans for the series’ future, it’s important to not forget its rich and wonderful past. The Timeless Legacy trailer focuses on every main game since the first games release back in 1987.

The almost 3-minute trailer below might tug at your heartstrings a little if you’re a big fan of the series, and Final Fantasy really has had an incredibly journey that I’m happy to be a part of.

There are big plans for Final Fantasy XV, the Final Fantasy XII’s remaster and the Final Fantasy VII remake but what else could there be? A Type-0 sequel? A Final Fantasy XIII remaster trilogy? Maybe we’ll finally be able to buy Crisis Core as a PSP classic? Who knows. Square Enix knows, and I can’t wait to find out.
