Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes announced for June

Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have revealed Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, a new story set in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses universe that launches for Switch on June 24, 2022.

There currently isn’t much info regarding the exact story of Three Hopes, though a purple-haired man is featured prominently in the trailer and key art. Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude will all naturally be playable as well, with some slight visual redesigns.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes seems to be taking a similar approach to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Instead of being a crossover of multiple characters from the franchise, it’s instead focusing on telling a different story with the characters and setting from a single entry.

Perhaps this is the future for Nintendo-related Warriors titles, though we can’t help but miss the chaos of multi-game crossovers.
