Gal Gun VR Could Be a Reality
Gal Gun developers Inti Creates & western publishers PQube recently held a panel at LA Anime Expo, “Peeking Up Gal Gun’s Skirt”, where producer Yukimasa Tamura hinted that Gal Gun VR could be a very real possibility.
During the panel a fan asked Tamura-san what the team’s future plans were for Gal Gun, and whether they had any thoughts on bringing back motion control elements to the series in the future. Tamura responded that he didn’t know and wasn’t sure, while making the shape of a VR headset with his hands and looking around the room.
It’s not exactly a 100% confirmation, but it seems pretty certain that Gal Gun VR is at least being looked into by Inti Creates, and that’s pretty exciting! Anyone who’s played Gal Gun will know that some kind of VR support would be an absolute dream. VR is quite simply a natural fit for any rail shooter! We’d love to see what the team can do with VR tech!
