Gawr Gura to graduate from Hololive in May

Gawr Gura, one of the founding members of Hololive English, has confirmed that she will graduate on 1 May 2025.

During the short announcement stream, Gura stated that the reason for leaving is due to “disagreements with management and company direction”, something that has become a common occurrence over the last few months.

According the stream, she has one more project set to be revealed before graduation. This is also going to be a standard retirement, rather than the “affiliate” route where she could have potentially appeared again later.

Gawr Gura is the latest member of Hololive English to leave citing “disagreements with management” or something similar, following Amelia Watson (who is now an affiliate), Ceres Fauna, and Nanashi Mumei — the latter’s graduation is set for 28 April.
