Genshin Impact players will get free Primogems while game is under maintenance
It’s always frustrating when your favourite online game goes down so the devs can roll out new updates, especially when it’s a matter of routine maintenance rather than fresh content. But the Genshin Impact developers have found the perfect way to sweeten the deal: free cash.
When Genshin Impact becomes unplayable for four hours on October 21, ever player who has reached Adventure Rank 5 or above will receive 240 free Primogems, one of the RPG’s premium currencies.
That’s 60 Primogems per hour, with no work on your part required. What’s more, MiHoYo has promised to provide the full pay-out even if the work takes less time than expected. If you’re not at Rank 5 yet, you’d better get levelling!
The cherry on top? For those of us in BST, the four hour maintenance window begins at 11:00 pm. Unless you have very unhealthy gaming habits (though let’s face it, in 2020 who doesn’t?) it probably won’t even impact you.
