Genshin Impact Version 2.5 arrives later this month

MiHoYo has announced that Version 2.5 of Genshin Impact, titled “When the Sakura Bloom”, launches on February 16, 2022.

Enkanomiya, a new area added in Version 2.4 of Genshin Impact last month, will bring even more challenges, while the Raiden Shogun story quest continues.

As is customary, another seasonal event will also run during the entirety of Version 2.5. The “Three Realms Gateway Offering” event features a haunted version of Enkanomiya that continuously harms players with corrosive darkness. By completing the event, you’ll be able to get a four-star weapon, Primogems, and more.

On the gacha side of things, Yae Miko is going to be available via an Event Wish some time during 2.5. She’s a five-star Electro Catalyst user that can deal both high burst damage and damage over time when off-field.

MiHoYo has also teased some of the content coming in Version 2.6. The Chasm, an area found in Luyue, will be explorable for the first time once the update releases later this year.
