Geralt of Rivia Joins Soul Calibur VI
Soul Calibur has a history of guest characters with some of them being stranger than the last. Link, Spawn, Darth Vader, Yoda and Ezio are a few of who’ve crossed over with the fighting game’s cast, and this time it’s Geralt of Rivia’s turn to shine.
Check out how The Witcher‘s Geralt plays below in his debut trailer. Kaer Morhen also features as a stage!
As you can see above, Geralt utilises his agile sword skills and his magical sign abilities to defeat his opponents, and his weapons-based gameplay makes him a perfect fit for Soul Calibur VI.
Soul Calibur VI is due to release worldwide later this year on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
I’ve been gaming since a very young age and although I can’t remember my very first game, I fondly remember enjoying Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and being giddy with joy once I beat Dr. Robotnik. My all-time favourite game is a tie between Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy IX. As you may have noticed, I have a love for JRPG’s although I dabble in all genres.
