Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Version 2 opens with addition of Sandalphon

Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising Version 2 is out now, bringing with it a number of balance changes, a new mode, and the first part of Character Pass 2.

Sandalphon (also available as separate DLC) makes use of his various elemental wings to change the properties of certain attacks. He’ll be joined by four more characters in Pass 2: Galleon in Spring, Wilnas in Summer, Meg in Autumn, with Isla arriving early 2026.

In addition to Sandalphon, a new Survival mode is now available. This pits you against a gauntlet of 100 opponents, featuring numerous upgrades to spice up each run. Taking on this challenge will allow you to unlock new completion rewards for each character.

This is all on top of numerous quality of life and content additions, with previous battle pass-exclusive costumes you may have missed now being purchasable via the Rupie Shop.
