The original GrandChase MMO will return later this year
In some surprise news today, KOG Games has announced that it will be bringing back old school MMO GrandChase via Steam some time this August.
GrandChase shut down more than five years ago worldwide, though a mobile game with the same name and PC spin-off title KurtzPel were both released since its closure.
Very little is known about what this version will be like, but it shouldn’t be long before we find out. Recruitment for a closed beta is currently underway, with the testing schedule set to be released during July.
It’s hard to tell why KOG Games has decided to bring back GrandChase — the original release is almost two decades old now after all. This might serve as a decent source of nostalgia for fans of old MMOs at least, even if it doesn’t last for long.
