Guilty Gear Strive’s first DLC character is “The Secretary of Absolute Defense”, Goldlewis Dickinson

As predicted by a good part of the playerbase, Guilty Gear Strive‘s first DLC character is the US Secretary of Defense Goldlewis Dickinson.

Releasing July 27, Goldlewis is an imposing character. His size rivals Potemkin, and he carries a large alien-containing coffin into battle.

While the initial reveal trailer showed off some of his moveset, Goldlewis’ starter guide really shows off how odd this character is — hopefully you’re good at half-circle motions!

The next character to be released as part of Season Pass 1 will arrive in August. There’ll be five characters in total — with the last two releasing in 2022 — along with extra stages, colour palettes, and story content.

While nothing has been teased regarding potential DLC characters, it wouldn’t be a surprise if at least one of them ends up being Happy Chaos or Jack-O’ (a recent datamine does seem to suggest that they’ll both be playable).
