Guilty Gear Xrd's First Location Test To Start In August
Many have been patiently waiting for it’s arrival and now fans of Arc System Work’s Guilty Gear series will finally be able to get their first chance to try out the newest game in the series – Guilty Gear Xrd – early next month.
A couple of months ago, Arc System Works revealed a trailer for their latest entry in the Guilty Gear series and now it seems they’re still hard at work at bringing it to the arcade scene in Japan. From August 9 until August 12, a location test will be held for the game in the Sega Akihabara arcade in Japan. The location test for the previous Guilty Gear title – Accent Core +R – actually had streamed content from the event, but there’s been no word yet if Xrd will receive the same treatment.
Although president of Arc System Works, Minoru Kidooka, was relatively tight-lipped about the future of the series, he did mention that we would find out more about what to expect from the series next year and, more importantly, that there have been considerations about bringing the title to the next generation of consoles. For now, we’ll just have to wait for all the information the lucky few who actually get a chance with this game decide to share with us after the test.
