Has A JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Vento Aureo Anime Been Confirmed? Not Yet, But This Blog Has the Answer

With 4 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure‘s parts under its belt as successful and popular anime, the question on everyone’s lips is “will David Production be making a Vento Aureo anime?” With it being the 30th anniversary of JoJo this year streams and events keep happening, but there’s still no sign of an announcement.

To help with clarity someone has created a helpful blog to keep track of whether or not the Vento Aureo anime has been confirmed yet. The latest post, as of writing, is “Day 89: Vento Aureo is not confirmed”. Check out the website here, and give it a follow if you want to stay up to date!

There’s a reference to Vento Aureo in the final Diamond is Unbreakable opening, though, which is promising. It shows a street sign with “DU 1999” pointing one way, and “GW 2001” pointing another. “DU 1999” is clearly referencing the English title of Part 4 — Diamond is Unbreakable, which is set in 1999. Vento Aureo is set in 2001, and would literally translate into English as “Golden Wind” — or “GW”.

It might not be a question of “if” David Production will adapt Part 5 of JoJo into an anime, but just of “when”. And if you’re curious, you can follow that Tumblr blog to stay up to date!
