Hatsune Miku VR Release Date Brought Forward

The release date for the Hatsune Miku VR experience, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live, has been brought forward by a day! Instead of releasing in North America and Europe a day after the Japanese release, it will now appear in all regions on the same date.

In Hatsune Miku VR: Future Live, you wave a glowstick in time with the music, and can activate special effects and environmental changes by reacting at appropriate points in the song. Doing well can also earn you a solo encore performance after the stage finishes! Each stage has three song setlists, and the player can choose between two songs in each set.

The available songs for the first stage feature some great names you might recognise from the Project Diva games, such as 40mP and sasakure.UK. They are:

  • Love Trial by 40mP
  • 1/6 – out of the gravity – by noa
  • Satisfaction by kz
  • Weekender Girl by kz & Hachioji P
  • 39 by DECO*27 & sasakure.UK
  • Cute Medley – Idol Sounds by Mitchie M
  • Love Song by Lamaze-P

The PlayStation VR will also be compatible with Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X, allowing you to experience concerts you put together in the editor mode in glorious VR.

Live shows are a big deal for any idol fan, and VR will surely lend itself to them really well for Vocaloid! If you’re not sure whether or not virtual idol concerts are for you, then you can try out a one song demo version of Future Live which will be released on the same day.

Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live releases worldwide on 13th October, so there’s only a week to go!

Spread the love!
