Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding Will Skip E3
Even though Death Stranding was first shown during last year’s E3, the game is clearly still a ways off. To everyone’s disappointment Hideo Kojima tweeted that Death Stranding won’t be at E3 this year.
Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be @ E3 as we are fully focused on development. Pls see me with @geoffkeighley on 6/14! pic.twitter.com/w9JfmEOqF4

Geoff Keighley will have a one-hour conversation with Hideo Kojima and Jordan Vogt-Roberts, discussing the fusion of gaming and cinema as well as influences for their works. This E3 Coliseum panel will start from GMT 10:15 pm and will be streamed on Twitch and YouTube.
According to Hideo Kojima Death Stranding will be out before the the 2020 Olympics, more precisely before Akira (which takes place in 2019), so we should expect to hear more about this mysterious game as we near its release.
