Him, the Smile & bloom is now available for Nintendo Switch, PC

Another otome visual novel is now available to buy in the west thanks to our friends over at PQube. Him, the Smile & bloom can now be bought on Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

Him, the Smile & bloom features four distinctive couples, each with their own romances to pursue. Depending on your choices, each couples fate will change. However, the game has been designed to still offer an enjoyable experience even when experiencing its non-romantic endings.

Alongside the digital release, physical Switch copies are available now in Europe. A physical release for North America is also coming on April 1, 2025.

Follow the stories of four separate couples, represented by different flowers, and each with a unique story to tell in a slice of life romance story. Most otome games will focus on one protagonist, with a choice of love interests.

‘Him, the Smile & bloom’ instead lets you choose between four unique couples and focus on their own story. Pick between Wataru and Serina, Ginnosuke and Ami, Hokuto and Fuuka, or Tenya and Miku.

Each couple has three endings to explore. However, rather than traditional ‘good’ or ‘bad’ endings, each of the couple’s potential futures are poignant and offer something worthwhile to enjoy, regardless of the romantic (or not!) outcome.
