Honkai Impact 3rd crosses over with Genshin Impact next week

Genshin Impact is coming to Honkai Impact 3rd in the form of update v4.9, “Outworld Traveler”, on July 9, 2021.

The update will add Genshin’s Fischl as a playable character under the name “Prinzessin der Verurteilung!”. She’s Honkai Impact 3rd’s first archer, attacking enemy weakspots to deal massive damage.

Keqing will also make a guest appearance during the event’s story, and is playable during certain battles. As shown by the trailer, it’ll be possible to get Klee’s outfit for the character Celestial Hymn too.

There are already some links between both of miHoYo‘s games and, based on the ending of the trailer, it looks like Outworld Traveler will potentially delve deeper into the identity of Genshin’s Unknown God — a character that bears a noticeable resemblance to one of Honkai Impact 3rd’s main antagonists.
