Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0 takes players to Amphoreus on January 15
HoYoverse has announced that Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.0, the next major update for its gacha RPG, is set to release in only a few weeks time.
Launching on 15 January 2025, Star Rail Version 3 will take players to Amphoreus, a new world cut off from the outside universe. The last remaining humans in this world reside in the Holy City of Okhema, as an ancient evil known as the black tide creeps ever closer.
This arc of Star Rail is set to be the longest yet, split into two parts and running over the course of 8 patches. You’ll also be able to add a number of new 5 star characters to your roster, including The Herta (her true form, rather than the puppets she’s used in the past), and the first Remembrance character Aglaea.
Remembrance is a new path introduced in Version 3, focusing on summons known as memosprites. The trailblazer meets a memosprite, Mem — named as such due to it being the only sound they can make — unlocking access to this new path alongside the previous three they have access to.
And if you’re after some existing characters, Star Rail Version 3.0 will see the introduction of two limited rerun banners: Lingsha, Feixiao, and Jade in the first half of Version 3, and Boothill, Robin, and Silver Wolf in the second.
