Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has already become the most successful Warriors game ever

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity has been out for less than a week, but it’s already managed to become the highest selling game in the Warriors franchise.
Koei Temco announced via Twitter that the title has shipped more than 3 million units between physical and digital sales. In fact, in a statement shared with Famitsu, the company confirmed that this is the first Warriors game to ever surpass 3 million units.
This means that it has outsold the previous Hyrule Warriors entry, other spin-off titles like Fire Emblem Warriors, and even any game in the mainline series. Clearly, the promise of more story content related to Breath of the Wild was too good to pass up for Zelda fans.
