Moshimoshibe is a self-taught artist from Russia, who is creating anime art on the fly. I first came across their art a few months ago on Twitter, and I’ve been itching to share their work with everyone ever since. I’ve since spoken to them, and they’re happy for us to provide a little gallery of their work for you!
Moshimoshibe of course will draw a variety of different characters in their artwork, but since we are Asian focused, we’ll highlight some of our favourite video game and anime pieces they’ve done. Make sure to click through to the tweets and show some love!
Let’s start with the grand daddy of them all, this is the piece that drew my attention to Moshimoshibe, and I immediately fell in love with it. I think that may be because I have an unnatural amount of love for both Mikasa and Tifa, and to see this crossover, it’s almost too much for my feeble mind to comprehend.
With the release of Persona 5 Royal recently, Moshimoshibe decided to put out an incredible piece featuring new Phantom Thief, Kasumi. I think this one works so well because Moshimoshibe’s trademark red hue is matched by Persona 5’s general aesthetic, which is just *chef’s kiss*.
One here for the Granblue fans, Moshimoshibe’s Ferry art captures her expression perfectly, and their shading is really prominent in this one.
Keep your hands off this incredible Eizouken art – or you know, you could always support Moshimoshibe by buying it as a print. I would allow that.
Cibo from Blame! is drawn to perfection here, the departure from Moshimoshibe’s usual aesthetic really stands out with this one, but boy, it’s still incredible.
Byleth and Edelgard almost certainly have a lot of shippers, and this is probably their heaven. It’s worth noting however, that Hilda is best girl in Three Houses.
Finally, we’ll end on an extremely relevant piece, here’s a bit of Jill Valentine!
We really do love Moshimoshibe’s work, and we hope you do too! If you do, you can support them using the following links!
