inZOI gets first free major update August 20

Krafton has announced the first free DLC — or rather, an update that is listed as DLC for some reason — for Sims-like inZOI. Arriving August 20, 2025 it brings a new map, updated features, and the start of gamepad support.

Island Getaway allows players to access Cahaya, an island based on Southeast Asian tropics. Split into both the main island and a separate resort island, you’ll gain access to a number of themed activities like swimming and boating.

The update also comes with additions to all maps, such as farming and fishing. Zois also have some new toys with the addition of motorbikes and electric scooters, along with systems involving actions with other characters.

While PC only for new, the Island Getaway update adds in some gamepad support, with more refinements to come during Early Access. Keyboard and mouse UI has seen some improvements too.
