Item shop RPG Recettear HD announced for 2025
EasyGameStation has revealed that its capitalism RPG Recettear: An Item Shop’s Tale will make a return in 2025 as Recettear HD.
Recettear sees you running an item shop to pay off your father’s debts, buying items or finding them in dungeons to sell off for a tidy profit. It originally came to the west on PC via Steam back in 2010, along with a handful of other EasyGameStation titles.

Said games were all localised by Carpe Fulgur, and the company’s founder Andrew Dice also posted about the announcement of Recettear HD on X (formally known as Twitter.) While it wasn’t a direct confirmation that an English release is happening, its likely as close as we’ll get until more info is revealed next year.
If you’re interested in trying out the original version of Recettear, it — along with the other localised EasyGameStation on Steam — are discounted as part of the Steam Winter 2024 sale.
