Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Enhanced Edition releasing October 2024
Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, a landmark Japanese visual novel by developer âge, will soon be releasing on Steam as part of an “Enhanced Edition.”
Launching October 18, 2024 with English and Japanese text support, Kimi ga Nozomu Eien: Enhanced Edition is based specifically on the PS2 all-ages version. This means that some scenes and story moments have already been changed, though there’s an extra caveat for the Steam release.
As announced on the game’s crowdfunding project page, Hotaru’s ending route will not be included as part of the Steam version at launch. Additionally, while it will be unlocked later, this only applies to the Japanese version. English fans will likely have to rely on a fan patch, as this content will likely not be available in English otherwise.
