Kingdom Hearts coming to Switch via cloud versions
During the reveal stream for Sora in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, director Masahiro Sakurai mentioned that the Kingdom Hearts games would be coming to Switch via cloud streaming.
Now, Nintendo has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and III + Re Mind will all be available for the Switch as cloud versions.
While there’s currently not much to go on, the Nintendo of America Twitter account does mention that there’ll be “more information soon“.
It definitely makes sense that III is being brought to the Switch via the cloud, though it seems odd to do the same for Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5. Both collections are already available on the PS3, and the Switch should be able to handle PS2 remasters without much problem.
