Kingdom Hearts finally coming to Steam June 2024
Square Enix has announced that the Kingdom Hearts franchise will finally be made available via Steam on June 13, 2024.
This isn’t actually the first time Kingdom Hearts has released on PC. All of the games coming to Steam released on the Epic Games Store just over three years ago. This makes them the longest timed exclusive for Epic’s storefront.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III (plus the Re Mind DLC) will all be available. Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece, a bundle containing all three games, is also launching on the same day. Purchasing the bundle unlocks the exclusive Keyblade “Dead of Night.”
A trailer is set to launch on May 21. This will likely contain a few spoilers (the thumbnail alone could be considered one), so watch at your own risk if you’re new to the franchise.
Oddly, there’s no mention of Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory, the rhythm game spinoff that also came to the Epic Games Store back in 2021.
