I didn’t know I needed Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory before I saw it, and now I’m intrigued to see just how crazy this game can get.
The new game, as announced by Square Enix, is a rhythm game that journeys through the story of Kingdom Hearts, as if the narrative wasn’t confusing enough without having to focus on incoming orbs and enemies.
The game actually looks interesting in that you do actually fight as Sora using the rhythm system, it’s not solely musical notes as you’re used to in games like Guitar Hero. It’s also worth mentioning that the game will be filled with over 140 songs from Kingdom Hearts and Disney, so there’ll be some absolute anthems for you to jam to as you play.
Check out the trailer below, and find out more on the game’s website.
The game will be coming to Switch, PS4 and Xbox One in 2020.
