Latest Pokémon Legends: Arceus trailer looks much more polished

A new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus was revealed during today’s Pokémon Presents stream, showing off some much improved gameplay.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus takes place in the Hisui region, during a time where humans and Pokémon lived separate lives.

Compared to mainline Pokémon titles, roaming around the land is much more dangerous. While battles are still turn-based, you can be attacked by wild monsters as you attempt to approach them.

Everything looks far smoother than the initial reveal, due to the game being further along in development. The world still looks a little sparse in places, but there’s only so much that can be done with the Switch’s hardware.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus launches January 28, 2022 for the Switch. Pre-orders come with the “Hisuian Growlithe Kimono Set“, giving you a similar look to the region’s Growlithe variant.
