You’d be a fool to miss this latest Yakuza: Like a Dragon trailer
The Yakuza series has always been known for its expansive collection of mini-games, and Yakuza: Like a Dragon looks like it’ll be continuing this tradition with style.
Sega’s latest trailer for the game features a varied selection of side activities, ranging the familiar arcade games, to kart racing and managing your own company.
It’s should be good fun, with Ichiban eccentricity adding an extra layer of charm to each activity. The most exciting detail shown during the trailer, however, is the surprise inclusion of English renditions of karaoke songs.
Judgment, while featuring an English dub, was lacking the fan-favourite karaoke mini-game, so only now can we finally hear Greg Chun sing Baka Mitai (I’ve Been a Fool). As is the case with all dubbed SEGA releases nowadays, you can switch between both English and Japanese voices, so there’s something for everyone.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon launches November 10, 2020 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, and PC, with the PS5 version releasing March 2, 2021. Xbox One and PS4 owners will be able to upgrade to the respective next-gen versions for free, though the latter’s saves are unfortunately not compatible with the PS5 release.
