Being huge fans of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, I’ve been looking forward to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the next game from From Software. In fact, Reuben named it one of his highlights of E3 2018 and ILJG listed it on their top upcoming Japanese games in 2019.
The violent technologically enhanced samurai action title is due for release on March 22nd 2019 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC. To build that hype, publisher Activision and developer From Software have today released the launch trailer. We’ve linked it below for you to have a look, and it looks pretty great if we do say so.
In the game, players come face-to-face with larger than life foes in a dark and twisted world. As the “One-armed Wolf” they can unleash an arsenal of deadly prosthetic tools and powerful ninja abilities while blending stealth, vertical traversal, and visceral head-to-head combat in a bloody confrontation.
We’re excited for this, in fact, Reuben can barely contain his excitement about it. But what do you think? Will you be grabbing Sekiro when it drops in a couple of weeks, or does this title not appeal to you? Let us know in the comments, or on Facebook and Twitter, and check back for more coverage of this and other Japanese titles.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22nd. Interested? You should grab a copy!
