Libra of the Vampire Princess Vita Stretch Goal Added, English Kickstarter Successful

We’re super happy to see that Mikandi Japan’s Kickstarter for an English release of their Libra of the Vampire Princess has been successful! This means that XERO’s game will now be coming out in English on PC. But, there are still 4 days left to reach $210k, the stretch goal for a Vita release.

$210k is a fair bit more than the project’s $125 goal minimum. But, with 4 days to go, it’s still possible. On average the project’s backers have pledged around $85 each, which is no small amount of money. People definitely want to show up front that they can support these kinds of Visual Novels in the west.

For many, the PlayStation Vita is the ultimate Japanese gaming console. With tonnes of JRPGs and Visual Novels old and new available to play on the go or nestled deep into the bedsheets, it’s easy to see why. It’d be awesome to see yet another Visual Novel added to the console’s still growing library.

The stretch goal, the highest available, will also mean that they can release an Android version, and that backers of $60+ will receive these versions of the game at no extra cost.
