LiEat announced for Switch, launching May 27

LiEat, a short episodic RPG developed by Miwashiba, will be coming digitally to Switch on May 27.

Published by Playism, LiEat is a collection of three chapters featuring the lie-consuming dragon Efina and her caretaker Leo. This version of the game is optimised for the Switch, and includes 5 new illustrations.

LiEat has been available on Steam for over five years now, and on PC in general for even longer — the original chapters are freeware, with the Steam and Switch versions bundling them together with extra translations.

On Switch, the game will be priced at $9.99 (compared to $2.99 on Steam), with pre-orders starting on May 20.

Game overview via Playism:

Efina is a very special young girl. She’s curious. She’s optimistic. She has the power to make lies manifest themselves as physical beings, which then become her own sustenance.

She’s also a dragon.

LiEat is an RPG that follows Leo, a informant-slash-conman, and Efina, a lie-consuming dragon, on their adventure through a strange world, buying and selling secrets while attempting to uncover the truth about themselves.

Come across bewildering incidents as well as a host of unusual characters throughout your journey, as you gradually learn of Leo’s and Efina’s past history.
