Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii gets pushed forward a week early to avoid Monster Hunter Wilds
During the latest Xbox showcase Sega revealed that the upcoming release of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will now happen a week earlier.
As shown in the naval combat trailer, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii’s new release date is now February 21, 2025 for PS4, PS5, Xbox, and PC.
Originally, Pirate Yakuza was set to drop the same day as Monster Hunter Wilds, something that most games (especially not in Japan) would not want to compete with. A separately released message by RGG Studios also confirms this as the reason for the delay, saying that players should “enjoy hunting at their own pace” after playing through Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
