Bandai Namco is bringing the hit anime Little Witch Academia series to consoles. Little Witch Academia originally came out in 2013 as a 53-minute anime film. It was popular enough to get a following and quickly received another film funded via Kickstarter, a full 25-episode anime series and two short one-shot manga.
The game will go by the name Little Witch Academia: Magic of Time and Seven Wonders and will feature a totally new story. According to the official website, it will be an exciting, heart-pounding action adventure.
Little Witch Academia: Magic of Time and Seven Wonders will be out this year for PlayStation 4 in Japan. The trailer shows off the game’s beautiful cel-shading which along with the stunning hand-drawn animation. We also got a brief glimpse of the side scrolling combat. There is still no news on a western release.
