Lost Judgment The Kaito Files DLC launching March 28

Sega has announced that The Kaito Files, a story expansion for RGG Studio’s Lost Judgment, will launch on March 28, 2022.

The Kaito Files features the titular Masaharu Kaito as he takes on a new case while Yagami is away. The four-chapter story will see Kaito investigating the disappearance of Mikiko — a familiar face from his past — and a mysterious crime syndicate hiding behind the scenes.

Kaito’s Bruiser and Tank fighting styles should offer a harder hitting alternative to Yagami’s more athletic moveset — perhaps even playing closer to Yakuza protag Kiryu. He can also use Primal Focus to search for clues in lieu of the gadgets and canine companion from Lost Judgment.

Lost Judgment is available now for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The Kaito Files will be available separately at launch, or as part of the Lost Judgment Season Pass and Ultimate Edition.
