Square Enix have announced that Love Live! School Idol Festival ~after school ACTIVITY~ Wai-Wai!Home Meeting!!, the absurdly named PS4 port of the Love Live! arcade game (based on the F2P mobile game), is launching worldwide on March 24, 2021.
Like Sega’s Project Diva Future Tone, which also served as an arcade game port, Wai-Wai!Home Meeting!! will have a free initial download. Square Enix have said that it’ll include ‘eight songs from μ’s and Aqours and three types of fan-favorite μ’s, Aqours, and Saint Snow costumes for free’.
To get the rest of the game’s songs, you’ll need to buy them. Songs can be purchased individually, or as part of various packs. There are 21 song packs in total listed on the Wai-Wai!Home Meeting!! official website.
No prices are currently listed for the worldwide release, unlike on the Japanese site. For that version, song packs range from 990 yen, all the way up to 2,420 yen. It’s going be a tough sell in Western markets, especially if you compare it to the aforementioned Project Diva Future Tone and its reasonably priced main DLC packs.
