Go Go Nippon 2016

Manga Gamer AWA 2016 Announcements: Golden Fantasia, The Stargazers and More!

Let’s GO GO to Nippon, a visual novel released by Manga Gamer in 2015 that features a protagonist visiting Japan for the first time, will be receiving an expansion in the form of Go Go Nippon 2016. The expansion adds six new locations to explore and several more event CG with Makoto and Akira. Tweaks have also been made to the UI which allows for a wallet display and a showcase to highlight which girl provides a tour for the protagonist around Japan.

Explore Tokyo Station, Ueno, Rikugi-en, Nakano, Shibamata, and Yanaka together with Makoto and Akira! You can even enjoy a new getaway together with one of them at a park or a manga cafe! You’ll also get to see your favorite girl in a brand new outfit and watch fireworks together!

Golden Fantasia CROSS

Manga Gamer AWA 2016 Announcements: Golden Fantasia, The Stargazers and More!

Manga Gamer have now introduced their first ever fighting game: Golden Fantasia CROSS. The game features 2D graphics and is based on Umineko When They Cry, a murder mystery visual novel realised by Manga Gamer earlier this year. The game has a tag-team fighting mechanic and features nineteen different characters. There are two modes to enjoy, story mode and multiplayer, and will be available to purchase via the Manga Gamer website and Steam.

Drawing from the highly-acclaimed visual novel, this 2D tag-team fighting game features 19 different characters from the series that can be paired to create a wide variety of different match-ups! Combine meta world abilities and fighting styles between partners to create your best tag-team for crushing the competition! Change-up your tag-outs to control the flow the battle–whether pressing an attack, halting a rushdown, escaping from potential stun or guard break, or to recover chip damage–timing your tag is an important key to victory!

The Stargazers

Coming from the English developers of The Menagerie and Toko: The Reject Demon, a successful yuri visual novel published on Steam last year, The Stargazers features a small female crew exploring space in an effort to map out the galaxy. Studio Lupiesoft has developed both an adult and all-ages version of the visual novel, with more mature fans being able to pre-order the adult version right now from Manga Gamer with a 10% discount. A demo of the game is also currently available.

Inspired by pulp sci-fi, The Stargazers follows Temperance as she joins the Shooting Star to explore and chart the galaxy with its crew. Join these girls as she discover new wonders of space, rescue lost ships, fight to survive against notorious villains, and more! Of course, sometimes the outer reaches of space might get lonely, but the girls have each other for that.

The Menagerie (DLC Expansion)

Manga Gamer continue their relationship with Studio Lupiesoft by publishing new, downloadable content for The Menagerie. The expansion features two new heroines: an elf named Omara and a bat-like girl named Pippistrelli, and divulges into their past lives.

This new DLC adds a brand new route to the story featuring two new heroines: Pippistrelli and Omara. Both have been members of the Menagerie for a long time, with Pippi’s ability to fly offering her unique means to come and go from the collection of girls throughout her life. When she returns this time, she finds Omara, the elf who helped care for Pippi, in mourning over the death of her older sister.

Manga Gamer also announced the release of Please Bang My Wife from their new partner, Atelier Sakura, late last month. The game is an eroge visual novel and is available to purchase from the Manga Gamer website. Overall this is a pretty decent selection of titles. An anime gaming company gaining new partners is always an encouraging thing to hear, and although new eroge games was always to be expected, I am especially excited to learn that Manga Gamer is experimenting with new genres such as fighting games. I can’t wait to see what next year brings!

Spread the love!
