AlphaDream’s RPG series rises from the ashes with Mario and Luigi: Brothership
At the start of the latest Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that the Mario and Luigi RPG series is returning with Mario and Luigi: Brothership.
Mario and Luigi: Brothership is set to launch for Nintendo Switch on November 7, 2024 and brings the franchise to full 3D. It’s also the first game in the franchise since AlphaDream shut down in 2019.
This latest entry seems to take things back to basics, with Mario and Luigi using teaming up for special attacks and to navigate new areas.
Despite the name hinting at a seafaring theme to this latest title, the trailer for Mario and Luigi: Brothership didn’t show off much of this aspect. We do know that you’ll be travelling across a number of different islands, so perhaps the brothers will have to take control of their own ship.
